Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using Miglify, including accounts, connected platforms, migration workflows, acceptable use, billing, and service limitations.

Last updated: July 2026

Miglify provides migration workflow tools for modern SaaS teams. By using Miglify, you agree to these Terms of Service.

This page is a working terms draft and should be reviewed with legal counsel before production launch.

Important migration notice

Migration workflows can affect production systems, user data, storage files, credentials, and deployment behavior. Always review, validate, back up, and test before running production migrations.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Miglify, including our website, dashboard, migration workflow tools, connected platform features, documentation, and related services.

Miglify is a migration control center for modern SaaS teams. It helps users analyze, validate, plan, and run migration-related workflows across modern app platforms, databases, repositories, storage systems, authentication systems, serverless functions, and related services.

By accessing or using Miglify, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Miglify.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms to use Miglify.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

If you use Miglify on behalf of a company, client, agency, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

You must notify Miglify if you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization.

3. Use of Miglify

Miglify provides tools for migration planning, project analysis, validation, reporting, and migration execution workflows.

You may use Miglify only for lawful business or personal purposes and only in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to misuse Miglify, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use the platform in a way that harms Miglify, other users, third-party services, or connected platforms.

4. Connected platforms

Miglify may allow you to connect third-party services such as Supabase, GitHub, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Firebase, Neon, PlanetScale, or similar platforms.

When you connect a third-party platform, you are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You own or are authorized to access the connected project
  • You have permission to analyze or migrate the connected data
  • Your use complies with the third-party platform's terms
  • You understand what access you are granting to Miglify
  • You remove or rotate credentials when they are no longer needed

Miglify is not responsible for third-party platform availability, rules, limits, pricing, errors, outages, or changes.

5. Credentials and access

Miglify may require credentials, tokens, API keys, project URLs, repository access, database connection details, or similar information to perform requested workflows.

You are responsible for providing accurate credentials and for ensuring you have permission to use them.

Miglify will use connected credentials only to perform actions requested by you, such as analysis, validation, migration preparation, migration execution, package generation, or reporting.

You should not provide credentials unless you understand the requested workflow and are authorized to connect the relevant systems.

You are responsible for rotating, revoking, or limiting credentials where appropriate.

6. Migration workflows

Migration workflows can involve complex systems, including databases, schemas, rows, authentication users, storage files, Edge Functions, secrets, environment variables, repositories, APIs, and deployment environments.

Miglify is designed to improve visibility and control, but no migration tool can guarantee a perfect migration in every situation.

You are responsible for reviewing migration settings, validating readiness, checking destination configuration, reviewing reports, testing results, and confirming production readiness.

Before running a migration, you should:

  • Back up source and destination systems
  • Review permissions and credentials
  • Confirm destination readiness
  • Check schema and data compatibility
  • Review storage and file requirements
  • Verify secrets and environment variables
  • Test Edge Functions and related code
  • Prepare rollback or recovery plans
  • Avoid running production migrations without adequate review

Miglify may provide validation, status tracking, reports, package downloads, or rollback-aware planning, but these tools do not replace your responsibility to test and verify the migration.

7. User responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information and credentials you provide
  • The legality of data you connect or migrate
  • Obtaining required permissions from clients, organizations, or users
  • Reviewing migration outputs before production use
  • Maintaining backups
  • Testing migrated systems
  • Managing secrets and environment variables
  • Complying with laws, regulations, and third-party terms
  • Protecting your account and connected systems

You agree not to use Miglify to access, copy, export, migrate, or process data you do not have permission to use.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Miglify to:

  • Violate laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Access systems without authorization
  • Exfiltrate or steal data
  • Disrupt, damage, or overload systems
  • Upload or process malware
  • Abuse rate limits or security controls
  • Circumvent platform restrictions
  • Send spam, phishing, or fraudulent content
  • Misrepresent your identity or authority
  • Use Miglify for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity

Miglify may suspend or terminate access if we believe the service is being misused.

9. Billing and subscriptions

If Miglify offers paid plans, subscription terms, pricing, billing cycles, usage limits, refunds, and plan features will be described on the pricing page or during checkout.

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize Miglify or its payment provider to charge the applicable fees.

Fees may be non-refundable except where required by law or stated in a separate refund policy.

Miglify may change pricing, plan limits, or billing terms with reasonable notice where required.

If payment fails or a subscription expires, access to paid features may be limited or suspended.

10. Beta features and product changes

Miglify may release beta, experimental, preview, or early-access features.

Beta features may be incomplete, unstable, changed, limited, or discontinued at any time. You should not rely on beta features for critical production workflows without appropriate testing and backups.

Miglify may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves.

11. Intellectual property

Miglify and its website, product interface, branding, design, software, documentation, logos, and related materials are owned by Miglify or its licensors.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Miglify intellectual property.

You retain ownership of your own project data, content, code, and connected platform information.

You grant Miglify the limited rights needed to process your information and connected systems only to provide the requested services.

12. Third-party services

Miglify may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including hosting providers, authentication providers, payment processors, infrastructure providers, analytics tools, monitoring tools, or connected platforms.

Miglify is not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, accuracy, security, policies, actions, limitations, outages, or changes.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Disclaimers

Miglify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miglify does not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Every migration will complete successfully
  • Every issue will be detected before migration
  • Source and destination systems will behave identically
  • Third-party services will remain available or compatible
  • Reports, validation checks, or readiness results will catch every risk

You are responsible for reviewing, testing, backing up, and verifying migration results before relying on them in production.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miglify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, production outage, migration failure, or loss of goodwill.

Miglify's total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount paid by you to Miglify for the service during the period allowed by applicable law, or a reasonable minimum amount if no fees were paid.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Miglify from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Miglify
  • Your connected platforms or credentials
  • Your migration workflows
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights
  • Data, systems, or content you provide or migrate

16. Suspension and termination

Miglify may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse the service
  • Required payment fails
  • Your use creates risk to Miglify, users, or third parties
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the service or a feature

You may stop using Miglify at any time.

Termination does not remove obligations that should reasonably survive, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

17. Changes to these Terms

Miglify may update these Terms from time to time as the product evolves.

When changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be updated. Material changes may be communicated through the website, app, or email when appropriate.

Continued use of Miglify after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
