Live migration progress
Miglify shows migration progress so users can understand what is happening during each stage.
Progress timeline
The timeline moves through Starting, Database Discovery, Schema, Data, Storage, Auth, Verification, and Completed. Skipped modules are shown clearly.
Database discovery
Miglify inspects the source database to determine tables, sizes, and readiness.
Schema migration
Supported schema is created at the destination.
Data migration
Rows are copied to the destination tables.
Storage migration
Buckets and files are copied to the destination project.
Auth migration
Auth users are created at the destination.
Verification
Miglify checks that migrated items are present and consistent where possible.
Completed
The job ends with a summary of what was migrated, what was skipped, and any warnings.
Failed or blocked states
- Failed: an error stopped the stage. Review the error and retry if safe.
- Blocked: readiness requirements are not met — configure secrets or credentials and resume.
